Overview
Heavy off‑highway and industrial equipment often requires maintenance on large, seized fasteners that cannot be safely loosened using manual tools. A hydraulic torque wrench system was applied to deliver controlled torque, enabling safe and efficient bolt removal and replacement during scheduled service operations.
The Challenge
An off-road heavy vehicle service center required a reliable method to loosen seized and over‑torqued bolts during routine maintenance on off‑road equipment like cranes, tractors, excavators, bulldozers, and mining trucks.
The fasteners were located in confined areas and required high, controlled torque to prevent damage or injury.
